What is Recycled Asphalt Profilings (RAP)?
RAP is material reclaimed from old asphalt roads during resurfacing works. It's screened, sorted and reused for driveways, hardstands, drainage and even in new asphalt production. It's an eco-friendly, cost-effective alternative to traditional materials that's easy to work with and provides a clean, finished look.
What's the difference between RAP, Asphalt Rubble and the Road Base Blend?
RAP: Fine, compactable reclaimed asphalt - ideal for driveways and finished surfaces.
Asphalt/Road Base Blend: Cement-treated base mixed with RAP that sets extremely hard - perfect for strong foundations under concrete or asphalt.
Asphalt Rubble: Chunkier material suited for heavy-duty drainage and access roads for trucks/4x4s.
Can I use RAP or your blends for a finished driveway surface?
Absolutely! RAP and our Asphalt/Road Base Blend are popular choices for driveways and hardstands due to their ease of installation, natural dust suppression, weather resistance and clean, dark finish. They can be used as a finished surface without sealing, or as a strong foundation under asphalt.
Does RPP offer delivery services?
Yes! We offer safe and efficient delivery covering South East Queensland using a range of vehicles, including truck & dogs (up to 30 tonnes). We can accommodate various site access requirements with standard tippers, twin steer tippers or larger combinations. Pickup can also be arranged by request from our Narangba facility.
Do you provide installation services?
Yes, we offer full supply and install services, including site preparation, cut-to-fill earthworks and product installation. Whether it's a rural track, commercial hardstand or residential driveway, we bring the crew, equipment and expertise to get the job done right.
